Minutes: Minutes of April 23, 2001 meeting were distributed and reviewed. Motion to accept minutes as written were accepted, and seconded. Motion passed.
Treasurer's Report: Treasurer's report was distributed and reviewed. Motion to accept treasurer's report as written was accepted, seconded. One opposed. Motion passed.
Executive Reports:
President - Norm Quagliani: Thank you from girl's softball for money for scoreboard. Thank you from boy's cross-country team.
VP Communications - Linda Legato: Informed of Sharing meeting next week. Becky Hetchler indicated car wash schedules could be put on the Web Site.
VP Academics/Fine Arts - Jean Bugeaud: Need for donations for Senior Dinner.
VP Athletics - Greg Garavaglia: Boys Baseball won MAC Blue Championship today. Girl's soccer ended 0-6-3. Track, Boys division Champions five kids went to States.
VP Fundraising - Dana Campbell: Talked about the Closest to the Pin to be held the weekend of the Band Carnival.
Membership - Pam Gonzalez: Two new Boosters members were signed up tonight.
Administration - Mr. Mocny: Thank you Boosters for your support. Mr. Mocny brought in treats for all our efforts.
New Business: No new names entered for nominations for next years Boosters Officers. Election of 2001-2002 officers held. Portable PA System for Boosters motion to purchase, seconded. Motion passed. Jean Bugeaud made a motion to table on the next (athletic) requests until the end of New Business. Request for support for baseball $700.00 motion to accept, seconded, one opposed. Motion passed. Request for support for football $1,000.00 motion to accept and seconded. Motion passed. Request for support for school murals and graphics $2,000.00 motion to accept and seconded. Motion passed. Request for support for weight room $1,100.00 motion to accept and seconded.
Motion passed. Jean Bugeaud made an impassioned statement to the School Administration and coaches in attendance of our need for support.
Committee Reports: All Night Party will meet again this Wednesday 7:00 in the Art room. Veramay Scholarship letters were sent out.
