Minutes: Minutes of November 18, 2002 meeting were distributed and reviewed. Minutes accepted as written.
Treasurer's Report: The November and December final report and January preliminary were distributed and reviewed. Nancy accepted the reports as received.
President: Nancy welcomed everyone. Have received Schwan's checks totaling $75.10. Schwan's is having a special it will be in the school newsletter. Also received a check from K-Mart and from WCS for ticket taking.
VP Academics - Denise McGraw: Veramays starting up need 5-6 people to read the letters written by seniors for these scholarships, passing around a sign up sheet. Will be checking on the Snowcoming date. Also dance this Friday passing around sign up sheet for coatroom help.
VP Athletics - Greg Garavaglia: Passed around calendar for February events ticket takers. Varsity volleyball tournament at Troy Athens placed 5th. JV volleyball were in two tournaments and placed 3rd, have won their first two home games. Wrestling placed 5th out of 12 at a recent tournament. Dance team, placed 7th out of 21 at the Palace. Swim team are 2 and 2 they are half way through the season. January 23 is parent night. Warren Mott Swim team relays were runners up - way to go! Bowling, boys and girls Varsity undefeated! JV boys and girls are doing well. February 22, there is a bowling fundraiser please check the Boosters web site.
VP Communications - Steve Kranson: Winter sports posted to the site. Bowling updates have been made. Photo gallery updated, and Sadie Hawkins dance this Friday January 17th. http://www.warrenmottboosters.com
VP Fundraising - Chris Perry: Fruit fundraiser made a profit of $3,023.50! Reverse raffle the paperwork has been sent in. This event will be held April 2, 2003 at the K of C Hall on Chicago Road. The staff student basketball game we made $961.00, and we will have a staff student volleyball game.
Membership - Pam Gonzalez: Nothing to report
Administration: Construction going well. Phase one to begin late February early March to the annex and front of school.
Request from Varsity boys and girls swim team for $1,000.00 to purchase new pool record board and swim mirrors. They are doing fundraisers and looking at outside donations. Recommendation to allocate $1,000.00 for the team until needed. Motion made, seconded, motion passed.
Pat Venaleck requesting $200.00 to help purchase a kiln for art class. Motion made to approve, seconded, motion passed
Wrestling request for $252.00 to help purchase seven equipment bags. Have done fundraising. Motion made to approve, seconded, motion passed.
Mike Maher from TONERinx spoke about a fundraising opportunity collecting and recycling used toner and ink cartridges. Mr. Mocny approved and Warren Mott will be participating.
Ann Kay gave a presentation on the wonderful banners she can and has created. Her cost is reasonable anyone interested can contact her at 586-274-4639.
Committee Reports: All Night Party going well! All committees are formed. Fundraisers also going well. In need of Senior baby pictures for hall of fame. Conferences will be the last day to get tickets for $40.00. Next ANP meeting, February 10th at 7:00.
