Minutes: Minutes of January 13, 2003 meeting were distributed and reviewed. Minutes accepted as written.
Treasurer's Report: The January final and February preliminary were distributed and reviewed. Nancy accepted the reports as received.
President: Nancy welcomed everyone. Have received Schwan's checks totaling $37.41. Positions for Boosters board members are open for next year. Any one can run.
VP Academics - Denise McGraw: Snowcoming need workers passed around a sign up sheet. A baseball fundraiser, bowling at Ark Sterling April 5th at 9:30.
VP Athletics - Greg Garavaglia: Greg passed out sheets indicating how money making goes down. Winter sports for ticket taking and security should be receiving $1,460. Thank you from Wrestling for parents night. Wrestling won districts. Varsity volleyball, MAC Blue co-Champs! JV volleyball, tournament held at Mott they won. JV had a good winning season. Bowling, girls and boys varsity teams and boys JV won their divisions.
VP Communications - Steve Kranson: Events are on the web site, band concert, Jazz Fest, March teacher conferences, March 1st snowcoming. Spirit week February 24 through Feb 28. www.warrenmottboosters.com
VP Fundraising - Chris Perry: Staff versus student volleyball game looking like March 28 is the date. Boosters will be raffling off two Red Wings first round playoff tickets $2 a ticket, 3 tickets for $5. Reverse Raffle, tickets are available. Need not be present to win. Road Rally, if anyone is interested in organizing this please see Chris.
Membership - Pam Gonzalez: Nothing to report
Administration: Special vote March 24, 2003 to amend the language of the original Bond issue. Counselors are scheduling 8th grade orientation. Toner fundraising underway.
New Business:
Request from Mr. Sepke for Science Olympiad held March 15, 2003 at Macomb Community College. Requesting $200.00 for shirts and supplies for this event. Motion made, seconded motion passed.
Biology requesting funds to purchase a plaque for the Eco-system in the courtyard. Request on hold.
Committee Reports: Health Council will be set up at conferences to solicit funds for this cause. All Night Party going well! At conferences, will be selling Shamrock plants, gift certificates from Meijer. There will be a bowling fundraiser. Also, a bottle and can drive. Senior parents, ANP is in need of baby pictures. March 10th is the next scheduled ANP meeting.
