He holds the final word on all fundraisers. There will be safety drills done including tornado, fire, lockdowns and evacuation. Every staff member is aware of the security and safety issues that are required for the 1600 students that attend our school. The Media center is one to two days away from completion. Lynn DiBartolomeo commended Mr. Adams on keeping in touch with the parents and stated that he is doing a great job.
Athletic Director - Dave Noble: The new scoreboards are up in the main gym and should be functional for the basketball games. The winter sports pocket schedules are in the process of being printed. They may be free courtesy of Courtesy Driving school which is requesting that they have an ad placed on the back of the cards. This would save us approximately $135.00. Try out times for the winter sports teams will be on November 15, 18, and 22. He is looking into replacing the scoreboard for swimming. It could cost from $15,000 - 50,000. We will be able to host team districts for wrestling. Concessions will be held at these meets. Mr. Haberski questioned the practice of teams bringing in their own food. Coach Olind had a request for several pieces of equipment as well as tear away pants totaling $1400.00. He stated that the team would try and do some fundraising. Because a written request for these items was never given to the Board, we could not discuss or grant Coach Olind his request at this meeting. The Board asked him to submit his request in writing at least a week prior to the next meeting and we would include it on the agenda. Mr. Noble said that he would try to work something out in the mean time to help out the team. The Health Council is still in need of a representative. Linda Rotarius agreed to be the representative.
