Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM.
President: Lynn DiBartolmeo: Thanked everyone for attending. The Marquee looks great in front of the school. We are still planning a euchre tournament in the winter. The band MSBOA went well, not that many people attended because of the cold weather. Have not figured out the finances between the booster and band.
Minutes Secretary – Sharon Ouvry: The report was read. Julie Cooper made a motion to accept the minutes, Sandy Stevens second, the minutes stood approved.
Treasurer’s Report – Doug Ouvry: The report was read. Mark Kovach made a motion to accept the report, Jim Paruch second, the report stood approved.
VP Academics – Nancy Brown: Thank you to everyone that helped at the homecoming dance. And the decorations turned out great, thank you to everyone that helped. The kids loved that dance and the DJ over 1,000 tickets were sold.
VP Athletics – Garry Wolff: October 25 is the Beer & Grissom game, help is needed at 4:00
VP Communications – Martin Heitkamp: Any pictures you would like on the website give him the CD, disc and he will be happy to put them on the website.
VP fundraising - Judy Hurt: We are still collecting computer cartridges in the front office. And collecting paper, the bin is outside in the band parking lot.
Membership – Debbie Willard: Make sure she has your e mail address, if you have not been receiving an email regarding the booster meetings, she does not have you address. We have 174 members and $650.00 donations from the members. You have to be a member to vote.
VP Concession – Debbie Walsh, Pam Cochrane. Thank you to everyone for their help, parents from football, girls basketball, dance team, soft ball, band, volley ball, soccer, bowling, baseball. We need help for the freshmen games at 4:00.
Administration: Mr. Brad Martin: Thank you to everyone for all their help at homecoming week. And thank you to the leadership students for all their hard work at homecoming. Proposal 5 will be up for election on November 7, please consider voting. If passed could guarantee funding for public schools. It will not raise taxes, and give school a financial foundation.
Athletic Director: David Noble: Warren Mott Football are in the playoffs!! If we win on Friday to Sterling Heights, we have a good shot to host the playoff game on Friday October 27. At the playoff game no passes are allowed, $5.00 a person. The band can perform at ½ time for 7 minutes, if the other team does not play we have the full 15 minutes. The winter schedules will be on this week
Liaisons: Boys Lacrosse is have a meeting November 14, 7:30 at Carleton, practice starts in March, this is a spring sport
Swimming is doing well.
Dance Team is having competition at Lake Orion on November 4
Bowling tryouts are Friday November 17
Girls Tennis:
0-5 Mac Blue, sixth place blue tournament (last)
0-11 overall, last Thursday finished tied for 10th of 12 in Grosse Pointe South regional, did not qualify for “All State” academic team for 2nd year. Did have 3 Mac academic members Senior Gena Cumpio, Sophomores Shannon Waite, Rebecca Piazza. Mac sportsmanship vote will not be known until November, the banquet will be in early November.

Dance Team requested for bottom warm ups that will stay with the school, for 16 girls and 2 coaches, $585.00. Mary Herzig motion to give the dance team $585.00 for warm ups, second by Julie Sroka, all in favor, motion passed.
Julie Cooper is selling wind breakers for $35.00 and golf shirts $25.00 with Warren Mott embroidered on the clothing. She can embroider any type of clothing or hats.
Rose Howard wanted to thank the booster club for all their hard work at MSOBA, the band could not have up on such a great event with out the booster club.
Susan Howard Brown would like to know if we can have a committee review the by-laws for the teams and committees that are coming to the booster for funds, so we will not have any more problems like we had at last meeting. Lynn would like a committee to be set up regarding this; we will table this for next months meeting
Committee Reports – All Night Senior Party – Sharon Ouvry chairperson: Next meeting is October 23; a lot of help is needed. If any parent would like to chair next year, please let her know.
