Call to Order - The meeting was called to order at 7:10 PM.
President: Lynn DiBartolmeo: Thanked everyone for coming.
Minutes Secretary – Sharon Ouvry: The report was read. Julie Cooper made a motion to accept the minutes, Kim Mutschler second, the minutes stood approved.
Treasurer’s Report – Doug Ouvry: The report was read. Lynn Parush made a motion to accept the report, Kim Mutschler second, the report stood approved.
VP Academics – Nancy Brown: Snow Coming Dance was Great, thank you to everyone that helped. Helen Phillips did a great job with the decorations, she will thinking of running for VP academics next year. Euchre party is planned for March 16 we need helpers and players. You do not need a partner to play. Pizza, salad and desserts will be served. We will be calling the bake list for donated bake goods. You and to be 21 and over to play, tickets will be sold at the door.
VP Athletics – Garry Wolff: Last basketball game on Thursday, this is parent night. The playoffs start on Monday March 5 at Fraser High School.
VP Communications – Martin Heitkamp: Website is updated
VP fundraising - Judy Hurt: Still collecting ink cartridges. Sun Shine carpet on 13 Mile and Ryan will give a % off your purchase if you say you are from Warren Mott.
Membership – Debbie Willard: Make sure she has your e mail address, if you have not been receiving an email regarding the booster meetings, she does not have you address. We have 184 members; you have to be a member to vote.
VP Concession – Debbie Walsh, Pam Cochrane. Thank you to everyone for their help. Track and baseball season will start in April; we will need help at concession.
Administration: Mr. Brad Martin: Not able to attend. Mr. Griessel was asked about spring sports try outs the same date of the MME and ACT test on March 12, 13, and 14. Can the sport try out be delayed? He does not think so, but will bring it up with Mr. Martin.
Athletic Director: David Noble: Thank you to all the volunteers that help, you are much appreciated.
Liaisons: Swimming came in 2nd place. Girls volleyball play offs are on Wednesday, March 7. Wrestling 5 boys went to District, Joe Ceravolo and AB Yousif is going to states at the Palace. Cheerleaders are Mac Blue Champs, Congratulations! Quiz bowl is doing well will go to States in April.
Bowling: Mac County Championship: Varsity Boys qualified 5th lost in the 2nd round
Varsity girls finished 11th J.V boys: qualified 5th finished 2nd.
Tri-County Championship:
Varsity boys qualified 1st lost in the first round. JV girls finished 14th. Adam Gadja qualified 2nd lost in 2nd round. Delisha White qualified 30th lost in first road.
New Business: Ms. Stone science Olympiad requested $150.00 for T shirts – Money has been allocated for the T-shirts.
Old Business:
Candice Watts Radio & TV station at Cousino not available – request dropped.
Committee Reports – All nigh Senior Party – Sharon Ouvry chairperson: Next meeting is tonight after the booster meeting.
